Who's a posh piggy now?!

'Puffball' eating out in our kitchen!

On sunday i made our guinea pig 'Puffball' a sandwich. At first i made it just for fun, but then i had the idea of actually having a table, and then it was the sign, and finally (and most importantly) ....... the towel! And here's how to make your own sandwiches for your little piggies!

How to make sandwiches for guinea pigs!

(serves one)
You will need...

half a piece of bread
2 table spoons of grated carrot
1 thin slice of apple
broccoli,raisins,etc
purple cabbage chopped finely

First get the halved bread and put the slice of apple
on top. Then put the carrot and cabbage on, a bit of your guinea pigs favourite food, and put on a plate!
Yum yum!:)

Note, if you are going to let your guinea pig eat inside, then put down a towel just in
case he has a little...um...... accident.

Paper clip zip!

Hi! Today I made a 'paper clip zip'. Obviously, they're made out of paper clips and they go on your zips, but there're also fun to make, and look really cool! We got coloured paper clips so that made them look extra cool! I got a blue one and a green one and as the green one was already in a spiral, I had that one on the end and bent the blue one into a zig zag, put a G bead (of course) and two heart beads on it, attached it to my zip and I had an extra cool, non plain, jumper!

warning!
Please use pliers when twisting paper clips, unless that is, you want very sore fingers!

Fabulously Fun Funky Facts!

Hello! Here are just a few facts I picked up from all over the place.........
Bat hair has been used as money, a volcanic eruption in 1883 made the sun look green, The first computer was as long as a tennis court! The legs on a newborn foal are already 90 percent of the length they'll be when they are fully grown. It takes 3 liters of freshwater to make one liter of bottled water, horses and humans are the ONLY animals that can sweat all over their bodies, and last of all, there was a python called Fluffy ( ha ha!) who was 7.3 meters long, that's about 3 meters longer than many average pythons!

The Elephant mouse

The Elephant mouse (Squadphantmousus) is apart of the rodent family, and, despite it's name, is not related to the Elephants at all.
It is 11cm long from it's nose to it's tail, and it has a nose that wrinkles up when sniffing. It also has a rather short tail with a little tuft of fur at the end; it has large eyes and it's ears are small, while it's back legs are three times as long as it's front legs.
It is a light grey colour and lives in Australia in the rain forests. It makes it's home in small burrows or holes and sleeps in little nests it makes out of dried leaves. Some times it evan makes it's home under the roots of trees!
It's diet consists mainly of seeds, nuts, and insects. Pretty much anything it can get it's mouth around!
It's predators are dingos, hawks, snakes, and sometimes native cats.
The Elephant mouse breeds up to six times a year, and in one litter it can have up to fifteen babies!
They are only just managing to stay of the endangered list because of how many and how often they have babies.

Pets, pets... and more pets.

Hello! This post is about our rabbit,
Peter. Peter is a Netherland dwawf,
and his colouring is "silver agouti".
His favourite food is probably grass
and pellets, and he loves going on
the lead! At the moment he's shedding
his winter coat, so after I hold him I'm
covered in fur!
